But it was all worth the que bah. cos i actually got the sunday class which i wanted with my frens all inside. heeeee. and there were space for 2 or 3 more for the class after i got my space.

Hah. after the long queing we went to have lunch and seperated after that. ricky followed me to sim lim sq as he was gonna take bus there. i went to return money i still owed my unc for the com parts.

after returning the money i decided to look around cos i believe my ex-harddisk power adaptor spoiled. But my seagate harddisk also under 5 yrs warranty la. so i went into this shop which sold the harddisk to enquire if the guy knows where is the seagate service centre. this was roughly the conversation that followed
guy: ohhhhh... sir u dun have warranty card then cannot. this kinda thing must have warranty card one you must have bought a parallel import.
(IMMEDIATELY i knew he was talking bullshit. cos i went to seagate webby they verify warranty by serial number one. PLUS i bought my harddisk from CHALLENGER. Chances of the guy selling the parallel import is HIGHER.)
Me:ohhh... but can you tell me where is the service centre
Guy:you dun have warranty card no use wad
Me:orhh yea. but i just wanna know

Guy:Why should i tell you?? i dun owe you the information what!(here it comes!) You buy one from me and get the warranty card la. then i tell you!
Me: WOW. thats certainly very good customer service you have here
Guy:You can get out of my shop now. i insist.

WTF RIGHT. WTF. PLEASE beware of this shop ppl. DO NOT BUY from the orange accesories shop on the 4th floor of SLS that is right infront of the escalator. KNN. i didn go check other shops ah but i saw the power adaptors all like old old one. Then i remember i buy before where got so ex one. the cheapest one they selling was wad 32 bucks?!? for a freaking power adaptor??? fucked up man. please take note ppl.

After that i really no mood to continue walking arnd SLS already. lest i bump into more of such ppl. Im sure they will be recieving their service awards very soon.

So i said bye to ricky and went on my way home. Sat at the busstop feeling dam pissed (i hate confrontations, ruins my day). So i was quite absorbed in my own world and listening to music on my phone when someone tapped me. i turned to my side and it was this old lady with lots of bags of stuff. she asked if i could sit more to the other side so she could put her stuff on the bench, cos the stuff were heavy and she had a weak heart. much obliged.

When my bus came i noticed she was gonna take the same bus. so i turned around and went to her to offer help. she was really grateful and we ended up chatting on the bus. shes quite a nice lady and well, all the stuff she bought (ikan billis) and what not are actually quite cheap anywhere de. but she chose to buy from bugis cos it was cheaper from the wholesaler. That 1 buck or 50 cents mattered enough to her. I found out shes on constant medication now and alot of money was spent on hospital bills. (lucky she got a son who teaches at VJC. wow) but if you look at it in a way, shes scrimping and saving to pay for her hospital bills. wah. and i can spend 30 bucks easily on a weekend outing with friends. =x really makes me quite guilty.

well, chatting with that old lady sorta made me feel better. prolly cos shes just someone simple and outgoing. not like the scheming guy(UNCLE) back at SLS who tries whatever means to sell products.

so on the whole my day was quite ok. sitting infront of the com now with the jap book on the desk... haha. thats about it for now. bye!

~ One Red Paper Clip ~

Waha. Bought a new book yesterday and finished it today. the story is rather short, but its really just, AMAZING.

The title of the book is the title of this post. One Red Paper Clip.

WTH IS THAT??? you might ask.

well basically its a true story bout this guy, who not so long ago owned a red paper clip just like any others. Incidentally he was unemployed or "between jobs". But he decided one day, to trade away his paper clip. For something better.

And so, the trades continued. Guess wad he ended up with? HIS OWN HOUSE. 2 floors and "recently" renovated. he moved in july 2006, the same date a year before he made his first trade. The paper clip.

its really inspirational and amazing that something like this actually happened in today's world, to an ordinary guy just like us. i mean he had to choose between "applying for a stable job" or "doing what he wants to do" And look where that landed him in. New home, celeb status, and most of all TONS of new friends.

haha. well guess i shud blog abit bout my birthday. it was last sat, 24th novem. recieved many messages sms, msn. thanks guys. wahaha. had lunch with family at sizzlers in suntec. it was... OK. haha. i mean i dun eat alot these days too. kinda, weird cos, my dad got me to call them regarding a promotion which was on going. and he got me to ask if i could use a photocopied version of the promotion voucher because he didn have the original. WOW. i mean yea, if he really wanted to use that voucher cudn he have called them himself? =s AND THE FUNNY THING IS. they actually allowed it. i reeeeally didn noe wad to say.

but i appreciate all the effort my family has put in to celebrate my bday wimme. wait till i get to wad my sis did. hah.

so anyways ermm... met up with the guys at night for some late-dinner-close-to-supper kinda thing. talk. ALMOST watched enchanted. most of the rest watch already. dammm. yea and they gave me a treat at this hong kong style cafe called tong shui its at zion road opposite great world. anyone heard of it? quite nice food. i dun noe how but me and seno just happened to wear almost IDENTICAL clothing that night. jeans, white polo with green stripes. urghhh... haha. wth. so gay-ish. lol

alright so i get home.. and guess wad. my sis baked me a cake! waha! its reeeeaaally very nice. um i tink so far this is the best present for this bday. =) checkk out the pics!







yea. its cheese cake! haha. wow. i had no idea she cud make smth like that. its really tasty. and it must have took her alot of effort to make =) how many people's sister actually bake a cake for them on their birthday?
(incidentally she also gave me a pikachu solar power toy... you know those nodding things) i really dont know where that will go after i eventually pack my room i mean... ~_~ and my mom aso got me this big bear, which she says would be given to someone else if i didn want it. its VERY cute and fluffy and all but again, when i "renovate" my room, i really don't know where all this is gonna end up. i was already tinking of throwing em away... maybe except one or two, like the pooh bear. then my family starts bringing in new goods. lol.

went to swim today... erhh nth much la. that day already went with alvin and amos. Safra mt faber. Its actually quite a small place... compared to the likes of safra yishun. but the building is still very new. only the equipment like arcarde and bowling alley is using like 2nd/3rd hand equipment. the shower at the changing room is dam nice! haha. it not only has hot water but the water comes from this big shower head directly above u. Similar to bathing in the rain. lol.

erhhh... dunoe wad i gonna do tml. prolly going to eat dim sum at sunshine plaza. last time went there that place like got quite good reviews... hohoho!

caught quite alot of movies recently... poor wallet.. haha. stardust was surprisingly a very good show. game plan was OK OK, its funny and all but you can feel all that "family values" integrated in the movie. Now Bee movie. THAT movie is worth giving a MISS. hah. If you were planning to catch that, DONT. If you were planning to catch that and ur frens pang seh u to watch first, count urself lucky. KARMA got them really quick. haha. its really a kiddy show la. The story is FULL of loopholes and the only twist in the story is a really lame one.

i really should get a job soon. haha. been spending and no income or anything. hmmmm. Well it seems im not the only one thinking of getting job too. haha. christmas coming many ppl wanna buy lotsa things.

When the food is sinful enough that is. =p

Quite an interesting show, really. was really skeptical about it before we went in but it turned out great. For some parts you can see from the start wad was gonna happen but there were still quite a number of unexpected twists, which was pleasantly humorous. its a good thing blog spot has word correct. lol. hmmmm. do go watch it if u havent. just dun ask me to go, since i watched already. lol. dun mind watching again if its paid for though =p(cheapskate)

finally gonna ord loh! haha. ok, you must have been hearing this for bloody long time now. haha. but this coming tues is officially my ord date! the day i collect my ic! haha. =) happy.

After the movie i sort of got "reminded" that there are certain times when i should just dun bother and go along with the flow. For there are things in this world which are uncontrollable. The more you try to control it, the more out of control it becomes. Then, it becomes unbearable. So i'll just go with the flow for now and take whatever comes along.

this week smth just hit me(i must have been really suey if it happened literally), its smth regarding a certain event i would say, which occured almost one yr ago. An event, which led to the inevitable loss of a fren... or more? =s an event which i deeply regret till this day... haha. those involved would prolly have guessed which event im refering to and will prolly be thinking "why is this guy bringing this up??? and the weirdest part is why isit entitled "THANKS"

well this entry isnt about explaining the story or explaining myself. because i believe i would never be able to do the latter in a million yrs and its just too leh chey bringing up the whole deal again. the reason im writing this entry, is because throughout the entire "incident", even with all that shit and bullcrap going on, i found that i still had frens who believed in me right from the start till the end. frens who believed in me just because i was their fren and they trusted the ZN whom they knew, even when the odds of me just being a selfish bastard seemed really high.

lott: thanks for believing in me even when u were directly involved in the whole incident. i cud even say u were a victim? normally its the ppl who are watching from the sidelines who can see things more clearly, but you chose to trust me and take my word for it. thanks.

For The Memories

haha. just now had an ORD parade. was a rather simple affair... but the speech was suuuuuuper long. haha. some things mentioned during the speech got me thinking bout the stuff that happened and the stuff that i will prolly miss.

1. the many times when zheng jie and lao cai "quarreled" as if they were fighting for the position of the alpha-male
2. the squeezy times spent in the small BX backside called the trooper compartment
3. weird/creepy/funny noises made by joseph when he sleeps outfield which suggested he was having carnal dreams. (there was a time he even touched wei bin's thigh unknowingly. totally freaked wei bin out! lol. luckily i sit opposite de)
4. the many many pet phrases of my different platoon mates which are so classic and sooooo imitable
5. byrant's act to gain sympathy from Lt Joshua so as to escape punishment for getting caught sleeping in briefing

haha. so many many memories i had. guess ns did have its good side after all, but still the lousy side outshines, or rather outglooms the good side. lol.

quite an interesting game where u choose sides between evil, and really Evil. The really interesting part is where u can command minions arnd u to do all the ravaging and plundering.

just got a new game last night. waha. actually is 5 new games. hoho. Its orange-box. Basically include half-life2 and the many games that branched from it. one of them, i really love the animation and work done here, is team fortress 2. take a look at the trailer. its really wad it looks like in game. really reminds me of some pixar movie. haha.



haha. so dats basically wad i did the past few days. plus go out. hah. shud start finding some other stuff to do aso. maybe start looking for a job. going to have a "ord function" this fri. dunoe if i wanna buy some new clothes to wear there not. or just wear wadever i have. haha. not very rich u noe.

hmmm hmmm. went to watch chuck and larry today!! hurrahhh!! haha. quite an enjoyable movie and well i guess it challenges a big society issue of today. Homosexuality. haha. guess prior to this movie i had already accepted homosexuality and homosexuals as part of the society so didn find the story offensive or anything. and i guess it does somehow speak for how the gays might feel.

haha. but no la. the main event today definitely was not chuck and larry. main event or rather main person was the bday girl lor! haha. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARLOTT! haha. thx for spending ur bday wimme(cos u had no one else to spend with anyways =p) haha. u've been a really important friend. thanks for ur talking rubbish with me all the time and when we run out of rubbish to talk. thanks for stoning with me. haha. and thanks for letting me poke. =p thanks for entering my life again.

waha. peter came back from america and he didn noe wad to get for us. said chocs were too heavy =( so he bought this. actually this the first time i tried vodka and i must say. it sucks. smells like alcoholic swabs used for injections or anti-bacterial wipes la. haha. but really have to thank him cos he still thought of us when he went overseas and bothered to get smth back =) got a couple of souvenirs from his various trips already. heh. so after dinner at ps(ate at manhattan.) went to jeremy's place for THAT. but end up aso didn finish it. and few of them didn drink just chat awhile and went off. overall just wasn as happening as i thought it wud be when a bottle of absolute is arnd. jeremy and bob was more interested in WOW... haha



this was taken at this sushi place at novena. 99cents per plate and they've got other stuff at other prices too. basically a one stop jap-food restaurant. and their system is quite interesting as well. hmmmm. i'd say the place is a great place to hold class gatherings and stuff. maybe u guys shud try it sometime. just remember to advance book if numbers are big. thats the pic of the one sushi i cudn finish. haha. dun wanna stuff myself until i really pop. anyways i was close already. so i really didn wanna eat it. so i stuck my chopstick in and tot it made a rather interesting pic to mark that occasion. so voila. here it is.

~ Something's Wrong With Me ~

I've just been diagnosed to have contracted a really serious but already widespread illness. The incubation phase of this illness ends in a matter of weeks, after which i can only depend on my immunities for survival.

Which is why the doc prescribed very very minor doses of the illness in order to give my immune system a kickstart. take a look

Those are all the dates which have been allocated for me to take the prescription which goes by the name of Octa-Ferra-Flavin or in short OFF

I have a total of 43 days as from today to prep myself for it. Hope my immunities work properly! ;)


on to a AHEM lighter topic. haha. today i went out alone again(hah. wads newwwwwww) Since its rather boring to be walking by oneself, one tends to become more aware of the details and things that are happening around oneself.

so i saw this couple which really got me thinking. its actually a rather simple thing but hey, you know, sometimes u arrive at deep questions through looking at simple things.

OK! so wad exactly was it! tell me already!! haha. sorry for the suspense. so i was walking and minding my own business and i saw this couple wearing a pair of "couple Tees" How did i know? well it wasn like your normal couple Tee which u noe has the same pattern or same design. Its those that compliment each other.

so this one was LO on one side and VE on another. I forgot who was wearing which but that doesn matter. My first thought was "hah. lame" 2nd thought."HEYYYYYY! that means they cant switch sides!(becos it wud then become VELO instead of LOVE(in a way i tink VELO is cooler, like u noe, VELOcity) so that "cant switch sides" thing got me thinking.

Isnt the current way we define "love" very similar? very structured. very inflexible. we only know one way to look at it and when we are in it we all conform to the normal social opinions that are accepted or worse we conform to the pseudo social opinions we derive from the black boxes in our living rooms. Is love in our current world such a rigid and almost stenciled kind of experience?

~ Ownself Go Out Day ~

Haha. yes. today is another ownself go out day for me. went to send my S.E 850i for servicing. ISNT that a new phone?!? haha. blame it on stupid singtel la. buy fone from them still got their own things installed inside one. like press one button go to ideas -_- pls lor. who wanna go ur stupid ideas. summore cannot ownself remove one. only sony erricson got the power to remove those unwanted stuff. rah.

then their server down. so actually can get by today. now have to wait. doesn make a diff to me la since i booking in tonight aso cant bring in cam fone. just nice i book out can go collect lorrr.

After that i went to funan to eat, buy vcd and take bus.

haha. didn take lunch so just go there for a quickie. lol. quick lunch. bought Secret vcd. lol. Im gonna get scolded by those ppl who dun like jay haha. i haven watch the movie wad. so just buy that one to watch lorr. got poster and coaster. =s dun tink i gonna hang up the poster or use the coaster. lol. lotsa rhyming.

after that took 61 to bukit timah plaza. wanted to find com games there cos i heard there got sell AHEM cheaper. haha. but in the end cannot find. so sad.

lucky queensway S.C is so near my place. just walk there to get my printing done. cos they can print stuff from thumbdrives de. i even saw a guy upload a pic from his ipod. WOW. cool rite. heh. after that shun bian dao bao dinner from subway at anchor pt. The basement looks quite cool after the renovation! haha. really much nicer than the previous look! Anchor pt is getting more exciting. wahaha.

ohhhh yahhhh i was at bukit timah plaza today, and as you all shud noe by now, i cudn find the shop i was looking for. but while i was walking arnd i stumbled upon a music shop! haha. got pianos and guitars and stuff. Its a rather small shop la but not wanting to go all the way there for nth i decided to "try out" the piano. haha. hand itchy mah. there was this little girl going arnd playing some songs as well. then when she heard me play she just stunn there and ask her mom to look! After i finish playing the mom was like asking me "gor gor grade wad ah? diploma ah?"

From the above little story i can conclude that it is better to know a nice and complicated sounding song VERY well, compared to knowing alot of songs that u still haven master. wahaha.

hah. currently my bunk involved in very heavy politics. for me well im on the neutral, cos i can talk to most sides... the grp i usually hang out with really like to bitch. yea... and i really mean bitch. talk bout this person, cant stand that person. sometimes just for kicks i'll throw in a few snide remarks as well. but like, they seem to be doing it all the time. and the thing is cos im on neutral and all sides aso talk to me. sometimes this guy will come bitch to me bout this guy then another one will complain this and that. but in truth they should all look at themselves because alot of times, we're almost the same. ALMOST. i do admit that there are some people who are more like this but in actual fact all of us have our weaknesses and our hardworking times. guess wad i really want to say is dat we should look at ourselves and what we're doing. i really hate the politics esp when im kiap in the middle and lastly, the bitching is really excessive. gonna ord already, why are we still like that.

going onto the ord part, yea im gonna ord soon as most of u noe. hah. i've got many offs and leave but my company/unit/battalion seem to be forever coming up with activites and programs, going to ord already still trying to squeeeeeeze every drop of life out of us. like today's incident. buden i realise, their not gonna be able to do this to me for long. hah. i've got time on my side. wahaha.

~ Army Half Marathon ~

Hah. Saturday night went to yEast coast park to prep for the army half marathon which happened on sunday. was involved in setting up some barricades and stuff as well as marshalling duty. basically just stand there and see if got ppl faint, stuff like that.

so we did things until 3+ 4 lidat. (cud've ended earlier and gotten more rest.. but.. ~_~) got woken up at 5.15 to get ready for the race. they are at least 10km away from where i am, and the race starts at 5.30 -_- wake me up at 5.15...

if not for the tiring part, i'd say standing there and watching ppl run is actually quite interesting. haha.

cos i saw quite a few ppl there. all from diff parts of my life. some i recognise but they dun recognise me. some we recognise each other. from army to jc to sec sch. really quite the variety. waha.

which led me to tink. sometimes life, its like a longggg marathon race. sometimes the road is curved, sometimes its straight and often there are ups and downs. and there isnt only just you running, there are many many people running the same marathon as you. sometimes you meet a friend or 2 on the way and you pace each other. other times when u speed up towards your goal, you forget bout that friend whom you were running with and when u finally look back, you can no longer see that friend. some people get tired so they walk or slow down. some stop by the side to stretch their cramped legs. but we should never ever give up on the marathon no matter who organised it no matter when ur doing it, we should at always try our very best to reach the end point.

been doing some sketching recently. haha. its really fun cos very often i'll express my feelings into what im drawing. though im not that much of a drawer(im more of a shelf. ok nvm.) but its still really enjoyable. dats bout it. i noe, i still owe pics from last time. haha. see how la. =p

~ RAAHHHHH ~

wth was that. stupid sister. shes supposed to be older than me you know. few more months shes gonna be freaking 22 and i haven even passed 20 this yr. wth man. shes been acting SOOOOO clingy these days. like some attention seeking big baby. she'll take my things from my room or she'll tell me she wants this she wants that. best of all she does it in a whiny voice. URGHHHH. i thought she wud behave more maturely after she got a bf. WOW. she behaves like that infront of her bf.

i mean sure sometimes u wanna play and stuff, ok fine. but not ALL THE TIME SISTER. OMAE WA URUSAI!! sheesh. i've just been tolerating her attitude until just now. she took my things again and when i tried to get it back from her my leg hooked unto my ipod cable and flung the whole dam thing ipod and all from the com USB port out across the living room. and what does dear ne san say?

recently i've been exploring more and more of the world of drawing and graphics. and im just getting sucked in more and more. lol. im seriously seriously thinking of joining laselle and giving up FASS now la... haha. aiyohhh. happened to walk past the laselle's building this afternoon and i just felt so ecstatic! its almost like... wad, harry potter seeing Hogwarts. lol. or i may just be exaggerating a leeetle bit la. haha. i dun get that feeling when i go past NUS... maybe i've been past there too many times liao bah. or maybe cos the laselle building is new. *shrugs*

heard from marlene that the bio team in PJ esp the J2 team was having a hellish time. so i msged may ling to encourage her abit.(so weird not saying ms oh and ms ng. maybe i shud stick to dat =p) haha. its really been awhile since i heard from them. Nice to see they're still alive. hahaha. went to read the first few entries from the bio blog. and i remembered how much stress everyone was at that time, and how much encouragement and support they always gave the students. really grateful to the bio team for all they have done. ohhh of course how can i leave out chee wan. haha. hes like forever worried bout us one. hope he's happy with mary and all. for those who dunno chee wan is my chem tutor + class tutor(sorta like form teacher) and hes done ALOT for my class. mary, is a bio teacher from the bio team. and chee wan married mary. hah. so yea, i've got great teachers for bio and chem. ohhh and for chi too, even though it was just a short one yr. same for GP. dun talk bout math.

and yah, im talking to lott again on msn. although its smth that happened last week but im only blogging bout it now. lol. its really nice to finally hear from her again. although some things didn change much, but im glad on the whole shes still fine. haha. lots of questions bout this keep popping in my head. like if we're still as close as b4. like will this stopping and resuming of contact become a habitual kinda thing. wakaranai.

~ "class outing" ~

haha. went out for class outing today. actually is i organise one. hai... 6 ppl turned up. wonderful number. we can play team air hockey and still have one team reserve. how cool was dat. haha. but no la. we didn go to that extent.

brought the group to the noodle restaurant in millenia walk beside Bakerz Inn. its called Bab noodle ah. went there once with the ppl from my platoon. tot it was not bad. heng the class ppl(or wadever fragments of "class people") found it quite ok too.







While we were eating or waiting for food. The table "beside" us had some commotion. i was sitting beside this glass wall la. but outside there was another table ma. so in a sense it was beside us. anyways, there was this boy who kept looking at me. very cute. lol. then everytime i turn to look at him he will turn around and hide his face. haha.




its nice to meet up with people u haven seen in long time. even if u didn use to talk to each other alot. lol. kean wei's going back to canada by end of this month. at least i caught him in time. haha.

ohhh and there was this motorbike roadshow at millenia walk. lotsa cool bikes. took some peektures of harleys. heh











haha. quite nice rite. hmmm. but why no meimei one! usually this kinda roadshow thingy got girls one! maybe i shud've went earlier... =P jk jk

guess wad i did after the "class" seperated and went on our ways? i went to find the gess gang and lo behold we ended up in a lan shop. haha. its like, the inevitable. lol. as much as meeting them and going lan is a routine, i certainly cherish it. cos i know i'll miss it if one day we all become too busy to get together like this frequently. heh.

~ What a week ~

hah. dam siannn. im blogging in a lan shop now. wth rite. my house internet is down... =_= dunoe why. at first thought it was the modem prob but my unc says prolly not. prolly is singnet there got some probs. still dunoe how or when its gonna get resolved... sigh.

the past week was my block leave. spent friday and sunday doing guard duty. =_= then when i came home on monday morning. mom told me grandma passed away...

so i spent the next 3.5 days at singapore casket. she was from my mothers side. hmmm. i was closer to the other grandma on my mother's side cos she lived with me and took care of me throughout my childhood. alas she passed away when i was J2. my grandpa passed away b4 i was born... but i heard he was a really nice man good at stories. so in a way i miss him as well. at least he left me with 2 grandmas! haha. alas even the last of the trio went on her way... hopefully they are happy wherever there are.

yesterday and today i had very bad case of stomachache. got better today. but yesterday it was really quite bad. to the point i was forced to go home before i really wanted to when i was out walking

at least i brought my broken stuff to get fixed... so thats smth done

last saturday went to pitstop to re-celebrate wan's bday cos the last time we didn get here cakes and present. so this time. we got here 6 cupcakes and a policebear! ^^
i quite like the police bear and thought it stood out most amongst the other bears at harrods. which was why it was chosen. waha.

~ Doomsday Eve ~

ahhhhhh!!! what do i mean by doomsday? no its not "aliens are invading!" Doomsday, or "Global Meltdown" Doomsday. Its worse. Its "tml is atec!" Doomsday. omg. and i tink im going crazy. why? cos i actually found myself singing "mr invertor" when the relevant commercial aired on tv. OMG wad was i tinking! mr invertor... mr invertor... wait. maybe i wasn tinking.

this weekend pretty normal actually. went out with fg and the guys again. Re-celebrated xin's bday... haha. cos dat time no cake. but ate at streets in IMM. i must say i really didn like the food there. it happened that on that particular day i didn eat anything xcept for a few chui kueys in the morning. but i cudn finish the plate of "dry beef hor fun" infront of me. hmmmm. the milk tea wasn fantastic aso.

halfway tru ricky had to rush off. so i ended up watchin transformers in his place. so thats the 2nd time im watchin transformers. haha. HEY MAAMI! _|_ lol

so wad else. ohhh i got dragged in to watch die hard 4.0 with the guys on saturday. wasn really interested in that show and wanted to save money. the grp had 10 ppl. there was an offer for 10 ticks at $80. so if i didn watch they will... how shud i put it.. "jiu chue yi". turned out to be quite an ok show afterall. with an appropriate dash of humour mixed in with the action.

in less than a quarter of a day's time, i will be in camp. getting ready for tml and what tml will bring. good luck to us all.

~ Tiring WeekEnd ~

Hah. Update to my previous entry, i really did take mc for my rashes last week. and i mc-ed till tuesday. heh. after that when the outfield ppl came back we more or less did most of the other shit that was thrown to us. and they got to clear off and left at thursday evening.

For the rest of us, who booked out at friday evening. I rotted awhile in lot1 after bookin out cos meeting up with fg awhile later.

had dinner at this weird "seafood restaurant" in the middle of this park... restaurant i must stress is an overstatement because i cant say hawker center. its more like zi cha, buden its more or less a malay-ish place. Its supposedly very good but... the food wasnt fantastic. and the service definitely sucked. i dunoe why but it bothered me alot that we didn even get plates with the same kinda pattern. haha. just doesn seem professional to me. Hell, even the stalls from the canteens in my schools use the same plates.

And then there was the service. really weird cos they seem to be forgetting this and that all the time. not just the orders. they served the first dish, without giving us the cutlery before hand. -_- and when the cutlery came, there wasnt enough for all of us.

ok ok i should stop flaming that place already, it must be getting boring huh. lets see... ohhh we went to and fro but basically ended up in the kbox at cck. haha. freak man. recently keep singing. on top of that its usually friday night singing... dam ex!!! strangely the k at lot1 closes at 3... the one at je closes at 4 lehhhh. wth.

after singing, we took cab back to ben's place to stay over for the night. its been more than a year since i've been to that place. haha. his bro still very fun guy to hang arnd with. and the carpets still very nice to lie on. i wanted to play with his bro drumset but it was what 3+ in the morning. haha. plus his bro said the room very messy.

so we more or less played bridge till the sun came back up... after that it was a while of stoning and trying to wake urself up.

then we moved our sleepy asses and walked to the nearest mac for breakfast. hah. tink my digestive system was sleeping or wad. i really couldn eat much. i couldn even finish a hotcakes meal!

after the stop at macs we continued on to ros place. cos we were supposed to change there and pick up the rackets and stuff to play... tennis! haha wth right. hmmmm. in between there was some commotion and misunderstandings... but the tennis turned out alright la. we had some fun and i managed to do some nice serves! WAHAHAHA.

after awhile when we got sick of tennis, we played this inprovised verion of captain's ball for 6 ppl that sorted got invented on the spot. however it did resemble touch rug, ultimate risbee and this weird game we played during pe back in jc...

when the whole tennis event was over(about 1+ in the afternoon), we went back to macs for some drinks. then we discussed on what to do after that. whether we should meet up again after everyone went back to bathe... and its longer than the usual discussion cos everyone was more or less stoned. particularly ben who kept dosing off.. haha

in the end we just decided to go home and decide later. lol. and that was wan qing's suggestion. have to give her credit for that. haha. cos after that we just didn meet up liao. lol.

so i reached home at 3+pm. bathed and had those black dreamless sleeps till i woke up at 6+

washed up abit then went out for dinner with the my gess frens who i usually refer to as "the guys" here. nth fancy just had some dinner and walk around. incidentally my miso crunch set dropped off the table cos it wasn balanced properly... (according to my frens its "paying restaurant rates for kfc!) anyways we met stevey! haha. haven seen that guy for very long liao. its nice to catch up. then he followed us and walk around. lol. group of them were just continously talking bout wow all the time. WOW. -_-

ended up in a lan-shop played a game of dota then realised we should play some nonsense games. so we did. and then we had fun.

took the last 63 back home. wash up then slp till this morning. waha. thats about it.

~ Am I A Rash Person? ~

What a question to ask. Why am i asking such a question out of the blue? well, normally i would say im not a very rash person. but this weekend's experience has made me think otherwise. At least for this weekend, yes i am a rash person.

The reason for this is not attributed to any misinformed or misguided decisions that i have made and regretted(although so far there has been one such major incident). The reason why i am a rash person this weekend, is due to the plateus of flesh thats sticking up from parts of my skin. At other parts where the infection is not as severe, the semi-sparse scattering of lumps carry a disturbing resemblance to the stones people use for foot reflexology. Yes, i have caught a case of THE RASHES!

AHHHH!!!!!! one word. ITCHY. Since last night my condition has been fluctuating from bad to worse then back to bad. but for now at least it is still in a, how shall we put it, containable state. the rash seems to take a life of its own. moving from place to place. just last night the main target area was my whole back and neck area. i woke up this morning to find my legs like ba gua. partly cos of the scratching which gave it the redness and the rash gave the lumpy texture. Ofcourse we also know that ba gua is fat. Which kinda fits the bill here. haha.

So depending on the situation, i should be going out with the guys tonight. But if my rash condition deteriorates again, i guess i wud have to skip surfy and his 4 blue friends. its like, waiting for a sign from god! imagine if my rash can tell the future! then i'll be like opening a shop to do divination according to the form which my rash happens to be in. And there will be worshippers begging to touch the rash so as to get a chance to experience the future! hmmm... think i got a leeeetle bit carried away there.

Tml there might still be plans with fg... but if my condition worsens then i will be paying a visit to my doc aunt. who will, hopefully give me some prescription medicine and ofcourse the all important MC. Because i cannot imagine going outfield for 3 days with all the dirt and mud when i have those lumps(i almost typed klumps) growing out of my skin, future sight aside.

wahaha. anyone familiar with that book? it was my sec 2 lit book. haha. we used to call it sing to the death. cos if u didn bring it, means impending doom.

watched shrek3 yesterday. i enjoyed it very much and it was very funny.(loved the pinnochio scene where he was interrogated my the prince. ok i shud stop spoiling) and guess wad? im gonna watch shrek 2 tonight for the first time! wahaha. wonders of channel 5.

watched the show with ben, ding, xin and ros. went to eat abit then ding went off. after much discussion and believe me discussion is a HUGE understatement. we decided to sing kbox at JE.

ben went to meet fookeat and frens first for awhile before joining us again. then we sing until 4+ lor like i said. i must say, kbox has some VERY weird song titles.

Urghhhh... I've been sick the whole day... now still feeling like shat. ~_~ spamm alot of water already but still lidat. tink i need to sleep more. haha. funny i should say that since im here typing this at this time.

its the 3rd week my com has been sick. rah rah. still cant get it to work. now i cant even get into safe mode to use any form of anti virus. great. now what. reformatt? then i'll lose ALOT of stuff ahhh... not to mention the hastle. hai.

went out today with the guys again(like on tuesday) did practically the same thing. but diff place la. hmmmm. i still prefer the maxwell zouk(as in the porridge ah not the clarb) to the chinatown one. the chinatown one is watery. hah

i wonder wads next week gonna be like. lucky i got buffer for my withdrawal symptoms. haha. cos bookin out on tues afternoon to go attend wedding dinner. haha.

went out with the mutated fishing gang(erhhh cos now got new ppl like me) yesterday evening. ate at fisherman's wharf. hah. (ryhmes with barf. but thats not true la. haha) sbeen awhile since i last ate there. the fish and chips still taste quite nice. no changes. the pricey rates of their sides and drinks aso remained.

after that went to "mu chuan" or The Ark which was situated just beside the wharf building. strangely it was in safra(and carried no perks for safra members) and the most irritating part was that they ONLY accept cash. pfft.

today went out with the gess guys. ate dinner at the turkish restaurant in far east(keep forgetting the name) i ate the icecream too... hahaha. lucky the uncle neh trick me for too long. compared to my other frens... lol.

then watch Sunshine.. The movie ah. not the real dawn thingy. haha. basically it sucked. BIG TIME. effects were so-so... i mean, the only "effects" they ever do and keep doing is the big ball of fire which is the sun. and the storyline just sucked la. aiyohhh dun watch it. go watch robinsons better. i wanted to watch la! buden some of them thought robinsons was stupid. i tried to tell you not to watch sunrise... but did you listen? nooooo... you just HAD to see the wonderful CG effects didn you. =p so just ermmm... stay off that movie. haha.

after book out today(yea have long weekend =) woohoo) went to lot1 to have my dinner... hmmmm. went down with some frens to the foodcourt and guess wad i discovered...

theres actually a "pepper lunch" stall IN the food court! haha. maybe its old news to some of you ppl but i find it really amusing to find the likes of pepper lunch in a food court! haha. its like finding a mcdonalds in a hawker centre! hahaha. go check it out if u happen to be in lot1 one of these days. i dunoe the price is how diff cos i only been to the PL at taka ONCE. haha. but one bad thing is dat one no drink de. only soup and the erm. lunch.

hmmm on to a more serious topic... as some of you may have known my mom went for an op on her intestine few weeks ago. there was some growth in her intestine. so ok go for op and stuff... after that finally op finish liao, say must go for chemo to minimize chances of relapse. so ok, schedule for chemo. on the day shes suppose to go for chemo, they found that some tests done earlier shown something in her lung. -_______- fuck. so now shes back in hosp. later in the morning gonna do some test to identify what exactly it is... hmmm... sian ahhh... rah.

actually took this pic last week when i was out having dinner with the guys at funan. was in pastamania as the plate in the picture to come will suggest. and i ordered this NEW DISH the mushroom and pinenut riso(or smth along the line i forgot liao)

one word.


basically the whole thing was one big vegetarian "cha peng" or fried rice in hokkien. tasted crappy, not much of an aroma to speak of and the texture sucks. the only saving grace was its decent helping of mushrooms. but thats not enough to cover the flaws.. hah.

if u EVER go to pastamania to eat. dun eat the funny dishes that u dunoe. haha. just stick with creamy chicken...

nth much to blog about actually. although camp activities were rather packed for the past week. heh. ohhh. went for some combat shoot and got marksman. =] $200. haha. and im quite proud to say that i manage to hit 25/30 with my weapon when other ppl who were using the same one were hitting things like 10. wahaha

ohhh helped furby design this "security poster" in camp. by right it was suppose to be a security poster design "competition" meaning, if u want then u participate wad rite. end up nobody did any designs so they force us to do. =_= whats new huh. but it was quite fun la cos i got to play around with fotoshop. lol. =p

hmmm. booking in at 11pm. hah. going to have some 3day2night outfield shit again. aiyoh... hate outfield man... haha. hui xin came down with chicken pox the past week, was telling her if only i can have chicken pox now. then can take MC for super long. so shiok. lol.

hmmm. im done with "the undercover economist" already. hah. it was quite an interesting read. after i read finish i understood some economic terms and theories. hoho. now dunoe wad book to get. like mph and times recently selling alot of those "10 easy ways to hook up with chicks" book or "get that promotion you've always wanted" book. the fiction section didn look promising either. hai... any good books to recommend anyone?

got a new wallet yesterday. the old one already spoiling liao. been with me since my 2005 bday. hah. was a present from the guys. so... aso dun wanna go spoiling it any further la. haha. the new wallet is a fossil one. i really like it, buden one thing it doesn have a proper compartment for coins. ~_~ good thing is the wallet wun grow too fat but ofcourse the bad thing is cant carry too many coins. currently using a deep card slot to store the coins. seems ok if the number of coins are kept low. lol.

~ Spectra/Ros House~

Hmmm. Yesterday was quite a tiring day. went to meet 2 groups. first was the spectra ppl. went down to imm in the morning to help them set up their exhibition. at first was abit disastrous cos it seemed like we couldn meet the timing and everything was falling apart. buden suddenly after lee foundation donated $2k to them, they were all in high spirits. then new pins came which were much more effective compared to the thumbtacks used previously. so the pieces that fell apart got pinned back onto the boards. and we managed to do things up in time. although throughout the whole time i when was there during the actual exhibition, there were many things that needed "repairing". hah

after i left the spectra group, i went to CCK to meet up with ben, ros, hui xin and wan qing. bought some food cos they wanted to cook dinner at ros house.(end up it wasn really dinner) then got ricky to meet us at lot1 for dinner(they wanna watch at lot1... =_= so sian lor. almost everytime book out will see that place one. hai.) watched 300. waha. quite a cool show. althought sometimes the gory and bloody parts were quite fake but overall it was a good movie worth watching. the arrow scene was dam cool la. the part where the 319i5785 number of arrows blocked out the sun

after 300 went back to ros house. played some lame games, then proceeded to cook... although i must say it was a weird timing to eat stuff, much less cook. hah.(it was already 3+ am in the morning when we decided to do the cooking)

after everyone ate abit(and messed up the place alot) we went back to ros's room. and one by one ppl fell aslp. i slpt as well... for bout... an hr? hah. then woke up and ended up doing bo liao things. haha. but watched borat on ros's com before i went home. quite a funny show ah.
